The Last Resort of a Vampire

Behold, a vampire lies wounded and bleeding in the dead of night, his body bearing the scars of a vicious battle with the pitchfork-wielding villagers who sought to end his immortal existence. With his life slowly fading away, he limps towards the sanctuary of the nearest graveyard, where he must find a way to survive.

Alas, the cruel fate has dealt him a silver cross, piercing his flesh and weakening his powers. He knows that time is of the essence and that he must find a way to heal himself before it's too late. Desperate for a solution, he scours the graveyard, searching for the elusive ingredients that will allow him to craft a potion to save his life.

With no other option, the vampire resorts to feeding on rats, his fangs sinking into their flesh to quench his thirst. But he knows that this temporary solution will not last long, and he must find a way to fully recover if he hopes to return to his castle and continue his immortal reign.

Will you aid this wounded creature of the night on his quest for survival? Only you can help him find the ingredients he needs to craft the potion that will save his life and allow him to return to his castle, where he can continue his eternal existence as a powerful and fearsome vampire.

How to Play

The main character in the game, the vampire, is wounded and is constantly bleeding. You will have to aid the vampire by navigating through the mazes as fast as possible to collect all ingredients to create a potion. This potion will heal the vampire and will give his powers back.

When the vampire is low on health, you will have to move even quicker to save him from death!

To maintain his health you can eat rats along the way. Rats spawn near holes on the ground and move around their hole. You can approach them and capture them to restore health. However, rats will detect if the vampire is near and will hide in their hole!

To avoid this from happening, you can use one of the vampire's powers. He can turn into a shadow for a small amount of time and will not get detected by the rats.  He will also get movement speed increase while he is a shadow. This way you can secure a captured rat.

The vampire has a weakness to garlic like any other vampire. Garlic is separated in some areas of the game level but will require you to go near it to collect some ingredients for the potion. 

Staying in garlic range will cause the player to take further damage and will increase the chance of not completing the potion in time. Move quickly and avoid staying in range of garlic for too long or you will take even more damage!

The ingredients of the potion can be found in different parts of the game level. Navigate through the mazes to find them before the vampire dies. After collecting all ingredients, you will be able to complete the potion at the cauldron!

Controls

The controls for the game are on keyboard and are fairly simple and similar to an arcade style game.
